These Demagnetizers are used to effectively remove surface residual
magnetism from High Speed Steel, Spring Steel, Die Steel etc in the tool
rooms. The current consumption is negligible and the unit can be operated
from any normal socket outlet of 220V A.C. mains. These are available in
standard sizes ranging from W-4-1/2" X 6", W-9" X 6" and
W-4-1/2" X 12". To demagnetize the workplace (Whatever be its
length) slide it slowly across the top plate at a low and constant speed or
by moving it away from the center of the tunnel.
Thick objects can also be de-magnetized by applying both ends to the
demagnetizer. Tunnel type Demagnetizer is most suitable for demagnetizing
materials from very small to very large dimensions.
