Types of MagnetsObjects having magnetic field are known as Magnets. We
at ERICH Manufacture and Export various different types of Magnets. These
Magnets have a very wide range of applications and are used in various
different kinds of industries. Normally magnets are of two types- Permanent
magnets and Electro magnets.
Permanent magnets are those magnets which occur in nature and do not depend upon any external source for their magnetic field. On the other hand Electromagnets are those which use electric current to generate magnetic field. Various Types of Magnets are categorized as follows: Electro Magnets We
are one of leading Manufacturers, Exporters and Suppliers of Electro Magnets
from India. The most fundamental type of electromagnet is a simple segment
of copper wire The amount of magnetic field generated depends upon the
amount of electrical current that flows through the wire. In order to
concentrate the magnetic field generated by a wire, it is commonly wound
into a coil, where many segments of wire sit side by side.A coil forming the shape of a straight tube, a helix (similar to a corkscrew) is called a solenoid; a solenoid that is bent into a donut shape so that the ends meet is a toroid. Much stronger magnetic fields can be produced if a "core" of ferromagnetic material (commonly soft iron) is placed inside the coil. The core concentrates the magnetic field that can then be much stronger than that of the coil itself. Ferrite Magnets Ferrite
Magnets are sintered permanent magnets and are composed of Barium or
Strontium Ferrite. This class of magnets has a good resistance to
demagnetization and has the popular advantage of having a low cost. These
are very hard and brittle, and need special machining techniques and should
be machined in an unmagnified state. Our unit is equipped to machine these materials as per required specifications. Having a low cost, Ferrite Magnets have a wide application area, ranging from motors and loudspeakers to toys and crafts. These form the most extensively used permanent magnets today.
