Types of Magnets

Objects having magnetic field are known as Magnets. We at ERICH Manufacture and Export various different types of Magnets. These Magnets have a very wide range of applications and are used in various different kinds of industries.

Normally magnets are of two types- Permanent magnets and Electro magnets. Permanent magnets are those magnets which occur in nature and do not depend upon any external source for their magnetic field. On the other hand Electromagnets are those which use electric current to generate magnetic field. Various Types of Magnets are categorized as follows:

Latch Magnets

* Super Latch Magnets : Super latch magnets are powerful magnets which can lift, hold or retrieve metal objects up to hundred times their own weight. Featuring welded solid steel construction, latch magnets can be used to secure gates or doors.
* Universal Latch MagnetsUniversal latch magnets are normally set in durable red plastic casing with four elongated holes which allows multi-directional and adjustable mounting.

Pot Magnets

We at ERICH offer a very wide variety of Pot magnets that are compact units composed of powerful alnico /rare earth magnets. Aluminum insulating and retaining rings are used in the assembling of the magnets in the form of mild steel pots.

TThese Pot Magnets have a very wide range of applications and prove their usefulness in various processes like clamping, holding, moving of small components through a very short distance. These magnets have a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the kind of application they are being used.
