Normally magnets are of two types- Permanent magnets and Electro magnets. Permanent magnets are those magnets which occur in nature and do not depend upon any external source for their magnetic field. On the other hand Electromagnets are those which use electric current to generate magnetic field. Various Types of Magnets are categorized as follows: Rare Earth Magnets Rare
Earth Magnets are one of the strongest types of permanent magnets that are
currently being made. These are very powerful for there size and are
extensively used. The ERICH line of permanent magnets, packaged in the
system are composed of licensed grade 52 neodymium iron boron magnetic
material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion
resistant finish.Rare Earth Magnet Composition The Rare Earth Magnets are made of alloys of the Lanthanide group of elements. Neodymium and Samarium are the two lanthanide elements that are most prevalent while manufacturing permanent magnets. These magnets can be availed in sintered and bonded forms and can also be availed in different coatings. Nickel-Copper-Nickel plating offer superb resistance to corrosion and durability in addition to providing a clean and shiny look. Rubber Magnets We
at ERICH provide different grade of electrical application Rubber Magnets
from -40C to 120C for selection. Residual Flux Density Br from 1600Gs to
2800Gs. Ferrite Magnet Powder is mixed along with Synthetic Rubber or Plastic in the manufacturing process of Rubber Magnets. When Barium or Strontium Ferrite powder is consolidated with polymer matrix, anisotropic flexible rubber magnets are produced. In Permanent Magnetic Material Field these Magnets have got a brilliant flexibility. These magnets because of their flexible feature can be easily molded and cut into stripes without affecting their magnetic properties. Machining characteristics of these Magnets is also excellent.
